Attention Piff 2009 Filmmakers:

Filmmakers: We are working on the schedule now. We have no answers on day and time of each film yet, but we will consider screening day requests only. Please send 2 DVDs as an auto play and no menus.. Email requests for information. You will get a quicker response.

Congratulations to all the Filmmakers

Congratulations to all of the filmmakers who were selected to PIFF 2009. We received so many great films this year, that it made the screening selection process a difficult task on our screening committee. We want to thank all of the filmmakers and their cast,crew and entire teams for the good work and effort put into your indivdual projects.

We are very excited about this years program and hope to meet as many filmmakers,cast and crew come June 25-28. Please continue to check the website: http://piff2009.com for updated scheduling information but please give us a little time to schedule our 9 screening venues. Please get in touch with us if for some reason you have not been contacted by email or notified through WAB on the PIFF 2009 film selections.

The Piff 2009 Submission deadline was April 30th and has now passed. The Official Film Selection notification is May 21st. As part of a fund-raising effort, the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival (www.piff2009.com) will be showcasing Philadelphia filmmaker short selections from the 2008 festival at Rembrandt's in Fairmount on Wednesday, April 29th. Filmmakers will be invited to attend and encouraged to provide short Q&A sessions after their screenings.
